Save the Date to support Ontario County Historical Society on December 3, 2024!

We are a member-supported organization overseen by a Board of Trustees. We are dedicated to a free admission policy and to improving our accessibility and sustainability. The historical society produces one major exhibit related to the history of Ontario County each year. We host school groups, community groups, and welcome visitors from across the country. Currently, we have a partnership with the Ontario County Arts Council. The Arts Council produces four exhibits per year featuring the work of its member artists. The historical society has over 80,000 curated items, including artifacts, manuscripts, library materials, and photographs.

Donations through ROC The Day will support our sustainability goals and transition to high-efficiency lighting which will protect exhibits and artifacts from harmful light exposure and contribute to improved visitor experience.
