Tim Wilbur has been a member of Ontario Pathways for nearly 20 years. Whether behind the scenes or working on the trail, he has held almost every position within the organization. He is currently Membership Chairman and is on the Board of Directors.

Other hiking related trails include being a life member and Trail Maintainer of the Finger Lakes Trail Conference, affiliation with Trail Works of Wayne County, and involvement with the citizens committee when the Manchester Gateway Trail started up.

Retired since 2010, Tim has been actively involved with the many different trail crews Ontario Pathways runs, from general trail trimming and mowing, to infrastructure repairs and storm related restoration.

His talk will include the beginnings of Ontario Pathways, the former railroad and its abandonment, and how the sightings of several For Sale signs started the grass roots efforts 33 years ago that evolved into what you see today.

Tim will bring a display featuring the trail and a collection of railroad artifacts found along our trail.
