Our 2025 Tour featured eight all-new sites in Canandaigua, showcasing five private gardens and three historic buildings – the West Lake School House, Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel, and Finger Lakes Visitors Connection. The gardens illustrated landscaping with succulents, native plants, edibles, as well as rewilding.
We introduced “Garden Month” this year by offering unique programming throughout July centered around the Garden Tour. Tintype portrait sessions with Willie Osterman, a presentation from Canandaigua Botanical Society, and a “Shopping Day” at Mayflowers Garden Center were all fresh, fun ideas that proved popular with our guests!
The Tour and auxiliary programs raised critical financial support for our educational programs and operations. We are grateful to our sponsors, guests, and site owners who made this year’s tour such a wonderful event.
