Save the date for our 8th Annual Garden & Historic Building Tour!

This beloved community event returns on July 11, 2026, from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm, offering you the chance to explore lovingly tended gardens and historic buildings in Canandaigua, NY. Each stop on this self-guided tour tells a unique story of our local history, community giving, and horticultural traditions.

Whether you’re seeking inspiration for your own garden, a chance to explore local historical architecture, or simply a delightful day out, this tour offers something special for everyone. Your participation directly supports Ontario County Historical Society’s mission to preserve and share Ontario County’s heritage for future generations.

What to expect:

• Carefully selected gardens and historic properties, all within a 5-mile radius of OCHS
• A self-guided tour to experience at your own pace
• Opportunities to meet fellow garden enthusiasts and history lovers

Tour booklets, which also serve as your event ticket, will include photos, descriptions, and locations for each destination on the tour. Ticket booklets can be picked up Tuesday-Friday, July 7-10 from 10am-4:30pm and on Saturday, July 11 from 10am-1pm.

Online ticket sales close on July 10 at 12pm, or when sold out.
