Ira Randall was born in South Bristol in 1903 and spent his life in the Naples area. After graduating from Naples High School in 1919, Ira attended Normal School, then taught for 30 years in the Naples District. Ira, never professionally trained, provides a wonderful example of what a self-taught artist can accomplish. Ira crafted hand-painted signs, furniture, and artisan crafts sold at The Woodcroftery in Wayland, NY. His work is highly collected and revered in the Naples-Canandaigua corridor.
