Bob Kimlicka, a former draftsman and lifelong student of architecture, has prepared a wonderful presentation for this Lunchtime History Talk on the “picturesque type,” an architectural style characterized by an appreciation for irregularity, asymmetry, and natural beauty. The picturesque architectural style emphasizes the relationship between architecture and landscape.
