This summer, OCHS and Woodlawn Cemetery have joined together to coordinate cemetery walking tours! Woodlawn is offering tours on June 20, July 18, and August 1, which complement the summer schedule for our tours of Pioneer and West Avenue Cemeteries.

Begin your leisurely stroll through Woodlawn at the beautifully restored historic Chapel and move on to visit sites of the notables interred. From the founding fathers of Canandaigua, to businessmen, doctors, lawyers, and  bankers. And from soldiers and musicians to politicians and baseball players. You will learn how they helped shape Canandaigua and  beyond. Tours will be led by Doug Stone.

Woodlawn Cemetery Tours start at 2:00 on the aforementioned dates. Like OCHS Walking Tours, these are rain or shine events and are free to the public.
