America 250: Changemakers of Ontario County!
Be inspired by the individuals who came before us, fulfilling the ideals of liberty, equality, human rights, opportunity, and democracy, right here in Ontario County! In Geneva, NY, Mary Ann Mallard fought to recognize Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday as a school holiday, twelve years before it was passed into federal law. Arthur Caswell Parker was an expert on the Iroquois Confederacy. And George Edward Barton was a pioneer in occupational therapy. Their stories, and others’, will be presented in the Meeting Room Gallery.
All are welcome to an exhibit reception on May 1, 2026 from 3pm-5pm.
