Geoff Astles is named as the new OCHS Board of Trustees President

Geoff Astles has lived in Ontario County since 1980 when he began his career in county government, initially as the Planning Director and eventually as County Administrator. His lifelong interests in history, biography, and genealogy included college degrees in history, government, and economics. As the family genealogist, he discovered ancestors that lived in Hopewell, Stanley, Chapin, Geneva, and Canandaigua. He has been on the Ontario County Historical Society’s board of directors since 2015. Geoff looks forward to working with the Board of Directors to improve community connections and expand services and programs.
